Dedicated audiologist Dr. Chrystine Beaumont loves working with patients and families to help people reclaim the relationships and hobbies that bring them joy. Navigating health care can feel stressful and isolating, further intensified by a break in communication, which is why Dr. Beaumont prioritizes providing quality care that’s not only informative and educational but also comfortable.
Dr. Beaumont found her calling in hearing health care after earning a bachelor’s degree in East Asian language and cultures at Barnard College of Columbia University. Inspired by the impact providers can have on a patient’s experience, she obtained a Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center School of Health Professions and externed at a private practice in Hawaii.
What does Dr. Beaumont appreciate most about her chosen field? She says, “In audiology, I found the right mix of research-based practice and patient-centered care that makes each day a uniquely rewarding experience.” When not helping people hear and live their best, Dr. Beaumont enjoys running, hiking, and reading. Good book recommendations are always welcome!
